Red/Grey - #562

Post by niceguyeddie »

Even though I've been out of the Mustang game for a while, I've owned over 10 Fox's. My father and I bought this in July of 2015 with the intentions of completing 2016 Power Tour in it. Life has happened and I am selling 3 of my five cars. This is one of them.

1993 Cobra
Red with Grey Leather
No Sunroof
126k miles
Repaint at some point, looks nice but not perfect - All vin tags in place (see pictures)
Rust Free
Accident free car

Vin# 1facp42d7pf136879
Build# 562
Born 2/18

Mods:
Intercooled Procharger p600 - sees around 5-6psi
36lb injectors
Custom tig welded intercooler piping by Bob Monks/STLMustangs
Properly routed IAT sensor
HPX MAF
Bosch Bypass Valve
255 Walbro Fuel Pump
Hooker Headers with catless X-pipe and Borla Mufflers
Unknown cam
Factory 3bar GT40 heads and Cobra intake!
Tuned by Bobcat/STLMustangs and made 385whp/407tq
SVE Aluminum radiator
SVE Silicone Coolant Hoses
FRPP Water Pump
Lowered on Tokico Struts/Shocks
Rear Tubular Lower Control arms
Welded Subframe Connectors
Caster/Camber plates with a performance oriented alignment
New OEM look headlights with "deluxe kit"
Brand New Bridgestone S-04 245/45/17 tires

Condition:
Repaint looks good but not perfect, some moldings don't sit 100%
No blow-by
Sometimes Smokes on Startup - oil
Has small oil leak
Heater core bypassed
AC is there but doesn't blow cold
Leather is cracked/ripped on front seats
Carpet is stained/worn
No rust, at all
Floor pans/chassis are very clean
Quarter Window trim is OK but not perfect
New Clutch cable, shifts awesome.
Transmission never grinds or pops of gear. Clutch never slips.
Rear sealed rear end 500 miles ago

I have some extra parts that can go with it like 1993 Cobra tail lights, H pipe, Flowmaster, etc.

This car is an excellent driver quality car that could be updated or driven as-is! Good power, starts every time, temperature runs cool and drives great down the road.

I've included A LOT of pictures, but please feel free to email me at benwadebailey@gmail.com or call me at 314-614-1478 with questions.

Car is located in St. Louis, Mo.

Price is $12,500 or offer

Thanks,
Ben

Looks decent for a driver car, or a little fixer up to make even nicer. Stay somewhat firm on price, what "other" rides are you gonna be selling?

Thanks! I am willing to move a little on the price.

Probably nothing of interest, my wife's stock Mini Cooper and an autocross prep'd Mini Cooper S but I'm keeping my 95 M3 project. Once everyone gets moved, I'll be shopping for a modern DD due to the nature of my work.

Congrats. Not fun to sell but at least you got close to what you wanted.

Methinks the "unforeseen circumstances" are the desire for a quick flip at a healthy profit.

$2k for non-sagging map pockets? So worth it!

I will say it looks that he did spend a bit of time cleaning things up under the hood and interior.

It does state he did a little bit of work, plus paid shipping and tax and title I'm sure. So really won't be too much profit if any.

C'mon, Will. There's more profit here than you're giving this seller credit for.
