well here she is my first impression was that she is a little more teal than I remember them being, I really had not seen one live for a very long time, but I also think at night the color may look a little darker.
In general I'm happy with the car the wheels need to be refinished there are parts where its chipping so any info on best way to refinish them would be greatly appreciated and the car sags a little towards the driver side in the rear which I assume is just tired springs should be easy enough to swap out. I have to say back in the day when I had my fox body it was heavily modified and I really enjoyed it but when I got in this car and started, the feel of an all stock car, it immediately took me back 23 years. I don't know if she is in the registry but I found the car here from an old ad, here on the forum, from 2015 the guy still had the car....

also any info on how to get an owners manual and a certificate any other pertinent paper work I need to get for her ??

Once I sort some things out on her I'll post more pics

Looking good! You can get an SVT Certificate from Ford - http://www.fordshowparts.com/store_cont ... ct_id=6913

Also, for that "all stock" exterior appearance, you have to remove the ends of the middle stripe on the lower half of your taillights.

Congrats on the score!

I am a big fan of the Teal Metallic. It's a vibrant color that really pops when clean.

As for the stock tail light response above, what are you referring to exactly? End stripe removal of the middle stripe...?

I'll assume your '93 has original taillights. Look closely at your taillights and compare to the taillights in the pic posted above. The middle stripe of the lower portion of OEM taillights does not fully extend around the whole taillight. A very subtle difference between the originals and aftermarket replacements.

I am not at home to look at mine closely, but zooming in on a pic that I have on my iPad, I think I see what you are talking about... The middle stripe on the lower portion does not go all the way around the 90 bend and to the front of the lenses?

Yes. The lower middle stripe stops just after it goes around the bend on the taillights.

you find all sorts of interesting information here, well I guess thats the first part of the car that we see is not original, I looked all around the car no signs of accident or respray (except front bumper) so Im wondering why the tail lights were replaced. since the front bumper was repainted to bring it back to life from all the chips perhaps the lights were replaced at some point because of fading due to age? I don't know I took her for a little spin around the block it just put a smile on my face.

Happens a lot with these cars.

did a quick search and it looks like my car has appeared on here before, I believe it is the second car talked about in this old thread.

going back and seeing the first one on the thread looks soooooo clean, wish you could still find a teal blk like that for 20K :)
