That is serious money for those miles! I hope he gets what he’s asking for.

Talked to him he's seen the Mecum auctions he said so he knows what it's worth... :bash: Good dude and basically a 1 owner car. Although the trim has faded pretty good and seats look a little worn for 34k miles. Other than that the car is pretty clean paint wise. This other one I inquired about was on ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-Ford-Must ... 2891664464

This one is missing the factory exhaust with the catalytic converters gone which were sold by the previous owner, the guy does not state in his ad. This was the same car for sale last year on svtperformance. Plus has paint damage on 2 areas of the car which require a repaint in those areas. Been on ebay 4 times now and hasn't gone over $21,400. But he's bound and determined it's worth 24.5 with missing numerous factory parts including shifter plus the car has undercoating.

Owell, the search continues. I don't mind paying a premium price for a car, but some of these prices are ridiculous right now with not perfect cars.

And even that is misleading as guys like to putz around under auctions like that they know have higher reserves. While prices seem to have jumped a bit over the last few years, some of these owners are completely unrealistic. These cars aren't and won't ever be anything like a 68' Shelby fastback or the like. There have simply been too many of them preserved comparatively.

If I sold my red car today in stock condition, I'd probably shoot for $12k. Overall it's a clean straight car, but there are many better examples that could be had for a little more money and less miles.

Meh, maybe. It's hard saying without knowing now much money is really exchanging hands.

I targeted my car years ago for the higher mileage as I knew I'd be pulling the drive train and such. It was in a fender bender, so the fenders and bumper aren't original, and it could use a repaint from the Florida sun........has a bit of acid rain damage. Still a good car from 10 feet, no rust, quarter window moldings are still perfect somehow. I still dig the "orange" red! 8)
