My red car

Post by buddha »

So I'm considering selling my Red 93' if I can get a decent price out of it. I drove it stock for about a year or so, the engine/blower as added later, maybe 05' timeframe? I bought it with 106k, it's just shy of 110k. It has some really nice parts in it now, I'll provide a short list below. With my nice low mileage black car, I'm just looking to move this car for something different. I may put it back to stock with some freshening up it doesn't sell as is. Car has been garaged since I've owned it. Here's the hit list:

• 1993 Mustang Cobra, 110k miles
• R302 Block, o-ringed deck, 331 c.i.
• Eagle crank, Eagle Rods, Custom Ross forged piston
• ARP hardware throughout
• Fox Lake Stage II ported TFS heads
• Novi 2k, cogged
• TKO 600 with Lakewood bellhousing, RAM Force 10.5 dual disc clutch
• 8.8 rear with Moser 31 spline axles and Detroit TruTrac
• Bassani 1 ¾” shorties, catalytic converter x-pipe with Flowmaster 2 ½” catback
• Dual Spal fan with Fluidyne Radiator, fan controller
• Aeromotive Competition fuel system, 60lb injectors with Pro-M 80 MAF
• Trick Flow intake
• Methanol injection kit
• Innovate WB
• Painless wiring harness for accessories
• MSD distributor and 6AL
• New carpet and leather interior
• Factory wheels widened in rear to 9”

Car has had the front clip replaced, the rest of the body panels are original. I was told by the previous owner he came up on a set of railroad tracks and essential came down hard on the other side at speed, pushing things up. There was no collision with anything. If I recall, there maybe a Carfax record for a parking lot incident, they did a backyard paint touchup to fix this. Not a great job as I can see where it's at. No body work that I've been able to find.

Ya, we'll see where it goes, if anywhere. :) I'll more than likely put it back to stock and sell the parts (or stash them away) if I really want to move the car this year.

Weather is crazy cold here, so I've yet to get it out for some recent pics.

Ha, thanks Brett. There are much nicer out there (like my other car :)), but the car is fun which is what I wanted.

It's overall a clean car, just really needs a tear-down and repaint to make it right, along with a re-tune. I'm thinking of a Pro-M engine management system if I keep it.
