I know there's a thread on here with the info of where to get the paint and clear for our wheels but I can't find it. Anyone have the info on where to order the paint from?
Found it.k98dave wrote:Center caps are un painted stainless steel. I have never seen a powder coat that look close to the factory paint
The wheels are painted with this: PPG Deltron Base Coat (DBC) 33896 Sterling Silver with a clear top coat. You can get it in spray cans or by the pint for spray gun here:
APS Tower Paint Company, Inc.
2120 West Nordale Drive
Appleton, Wisconsin USA 54914
920.731.2772
I did 4 wheels with two cans of silver and two cans clear for about $80.00
Sanded the wheels then used self etching primer, painted silver the next day, than clear the day after that.

LSR has reproduction caps for $30. Not sure if you want originals or not.jstanley55 wrote:Yes it is vin! Now I just need to find some caps that aren't stupid expensive.
I'd like originals but would be happy with these until I found some. Problem is they are out of stock for an undisclosed duration.NV93Cobra wrote:LSR has reproduction caps for $30. Hard to say man...might look good. I didn't like my current wheels on my black as much as on my red car. Not enough contrast or something.vinchez78 wrote:Oh ok, I think about getting the same style OE rims but blk with a chrome lip for my blk, seen them on eBay, but not sure yet, what do u think??
