No problem I know what you are talking about I've had some that are the gray color but I've always waxed them and they have come back black. I mean I have never had one that the window trim didn't match the other trim and 1/4 glass moldings unless it was faded.

Thanks, Da Bears. You're confirming the reds came w/black door trim paint. Now we need more black and teal pics. My educated guess is the black and teals came w/dark grey trim paint.

My Cobra definitely does not have black door trim paint and it is definitely not faded, especially on the INSIDE of the door frame. In addition the door trim paint matches my side mirrors and the painted stripes and center portion of the tailights which are also dark gray, not black.

My Bright Blue 1993 GT and Teal have black paint. The outside looks a little grey but I'd have a hard time believing the inner jams aren't black.

Thanks, 93N8. Based on the door pics so far, it looks like the blacks and teals had dark gray upper door paint and the reds had black. (Good news, DB. ;) )

We need to find out more about this. I prefer the gloss black on the inner doors. Why would Ford change it up on different cars? Makes no sense... :headbang:

Better just sell it, can't have the paint flaking off the radiator.

My black cobra also has
Grey paint on the door frames. Has anyone found the correct color paint for this? I'd like to touch mine up a bit.

Might be better to touch up the whole area, may have a had time matching the fading of what your car may have experienced through the year.

I actually just have 2 small worn spots from something I did when I was younger (I will not confirm or deny the fact that in 94 I may of had a pizza delivery sign on the window for a month or so). :pat:
