How hard is it to find a Cobra R for sale nowadays? I remember a few years back they popped up from time to time and were $50K-60K I thought......

Hell, I remember them still in the 30's and 40's. Had one west of me owned by a Ford dealer with around 2500 miles on it for high 40's just a year and a half ago.

There were 3 or 4 of these cars that I recall selling in the $75-80k range in just a few short years so suddenly you see everyone with a low mile or wrapper car coming out of the woodwork trying to drive the price even higher. I can't say that I've seen much action on these cars since 2008ish.

I dont think they will change hands in the 80k plus range for a while.

I have Two and wish they would:)

I would sell my 20k mile 93R for high 40's

I remember seeing a classified ad in the Philadelphia Inquirer around '96 or '97 (back before the internet days!) for a '93 R w/ 40k miles. Price was $18k, I thought the guy was nuts. I bought a 6k mile teal instead for $16k. Hindsight!!
