Never listed a price. I talked to him three times yesterday because they were trying to reverse the sale with the wholesaler. He said the car was picked up yesterday. I don't think they ever knew what they had. The dealer said it was just a mustang and that isn't their specialty. I left a message and asked what they sold it for so we will see if he gets back to me. He is also going to try and see who it sold to but I bet it is relisted soon.

I was thinking it was the one on eBay last year up that way. Couldn't remember the number of that car though.

With the age of the internet, I find it hard to believe they didn't know exactly what they had. Just beause it was wholesaled doesn't mean it wasn't sold close to market value.

Well if they did they sure didn't lead on to it on the phone. He said it was a normal red mustang with cloth interior and wasn't their bread and butter so they just wholesaled it. Maybe they did but it sure didn't sound like it.

So they bought it and a week later sold it?

All I know is that when I returned from my vacation, I was checking out AutoTrader listings and saw the Marshall Goldman ad w/no asking price as "Newly Listed" which means it was on Autotrader less than one week. I called today to find out how much they were selling the Cobra for and was told that it sold for $59.9. I didn't ask the salesman the history of the car with them.
