He is like Marc at Ogden Lincoln-Mercury, who owns #107.....He wants 115K, and turned down my offer of 90K (which I must have been crazy to offer)......I told the salesperson (evidently Marc doesn't sully himself, talking to customers....), that a premium of about 40K-60K over a comparable "wrapper" 93R is sufficient for any normal motivated seller to let the car go......Evidently the owner really doesn't want to sell the car, or will wait it out, if ever.......He really doesn't need to sell the car, and he is attached to it......He has had it for sale for the last 3-4 years at 115K, no takers.....Again, never buy 93R's from dealers IMHO.....Private Party is the way to go.........Thanks for your efforts, John, but don't bother getting a price out of him, I am not interested at this point in his car..........

This car is going on the auction block I believe this Friday......In Monterey by Auction America....Not sure of the firm,s name.....No wonder the guy wouldn't return phone calls........kind of a dumb move IMHO.......He could get decent money and not have to pay auctions fees and transport.....Oh well....

Their office is about 30 miles from auction site. They seem to have several on the block there. Here is the r.

Car went to auction on Friday Aug 2, Lot 474. I don't think it sold, it was on reserve I believe. Could not get conclusive results, but probably next week they will be posted by Company. At the auction estimate of 75K plus, my opinion is that it would not have sold if the reserve was that high.....Auction Americas Burbank 2013 Auction is where the event was. This was their first time in So. California. Barrett-Jackson had poor results in their first 2 outings here, and decided to not do any more in So. California area.

Auctions america, lists lots that didn't sell as "still for sale". Looks like it sold.

They are usually marked "Sold" in red letters......I will check it out.....The lots before and after it were marked sold......

This car, lot 474 sold for 42,500.00.....Stupid seller wouldn't return phone calls from me, and probably others that were willing to negotiate a deal......Anyway, we all know the market is higher on these cars. Without inspection, I don't know how correct it was, other than spark plug wires were replaced on a 600-mile car.....Why anyone would take a car like this to an auction is beyond me.......There are plenty of buyers out here for nice 93R's

If the deal is true, that's a good price. I assume that price is the sell vs hammer, and includes commission?

So #31 sold for $42k? if that is true the seller needs to examine his head. He had interest and never returned calls that is just crazy....

That's correct.........John Lynch sent me the lead, I called several times last month and got no reply........Can't understand what motivates some of these dealers, that offer a car for sale on their sites, and don't respond to serious buyers.......

I called in June, they told me they wanted 90. I said I wanted to be in the 40's, no call back. Bought a different car from them, once i learned car had 600 miles on it, vs the 5xxx they originally had on their site (too few miles for me). fine transaction, but communication has had a few slow points.

I don't think you can buy these cars with low miles for 40's anymore........The #19 car with replacement engine is a good deal if it can be purchased in the 30's.......I would want to inspect the car carefully to see what else would be needed to be replaced to bring it up to original coandition.....A lot of cars with some racing history will have replacement blocks, not the worst thing, if you intend to drive the cars, and hold onto......

Well.... Maybe because it was Paul walkers car!

#19 Does not need anyting, and is 100% Correct, the current Motor in the car is a 93 Cobra Motor, was fully rebuilt when I had the car. Was 30 Overbore with Forged Pistons, all new Ford OEM gaskets where used as also. I have many pictures of #19. I sold it with Corbeau seats, the guy I sold it to put Original seats in the car.

I was offered #19 Back for 35K but at the time did not have the funds, The car was NEVER in any accidents, I did repaint front and rear Bumper due to Paint being faded. It as in Arizona in a Back yard for 4 years, the covers where faded, the body was still in great shape. it had 42K miles on it when I sold it.
