Ok so i have the sensor. When i install it do i have to do anything prior to installation? I don't want the damn air bag to go off! LOL.

pretty sure you need to disconnect the negative battery cable.

the manual says disconnect the battery , ive done it with and without, just make sure the key is of. When you connect it and turn the key on, its not gonna blow the bag, if something is wrong, you will just get the light and an error code.

Well i replaced the sensor today and the damn light is still on! Any ideas??

do you know anyone with a 93 Mustang who isn't having issues with their air bag? If so, try swapping out the airbag control module which is the blue box located behind the radio...its attached by 2 10mm bolts to a support. It almost looks like an old VCR tape. Its worth trying if you have access to a known good unit...I believe you can ONLY use one from a 93 model though...

discount battery neg and positive, with them off press the brake pedel. that might work to clear codes..

Already diconnected the battery. Yes, same code 23.

How could you tell which sensor in the front was bad? I have a flash code of 13. All the description says is front.

Also, does anyone sell sensors brand new?

shop looked up the code and said it was drivers rear sensor.

And it was the rear sensor, correct? So why is that damn light still blinking at me? LOL.

Does anybody know or have known the airbag to deploy while dealing with this issue? That would definitely be a sucky surprise!

I replaced it with no issues...other than the fact that it didn't fix the problem!
