So I went to do what is usually a simple job tonight (rear pads and rotors) and ran into an issue. I can't for the life of me get the pads to go in with the stock shims. Is there some trick i'm missing? The new pads seem to be just a slight bit taller which I'm assuming is the issue but they are correct for 93 cobra. Figure easy fix is try a different brand but thought I'd check here first.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

Re: Rear brake question
Cool. I thought about that too but already sprayed the bake so all the filing would have stuck to it. Prob what I'll do though. Thanks man!RollTide93 wrote:look for my old posts on brakes titled "brake question" I had the same problem, just filed the end of the pads down a little worked perfectlyjstanley55 wrote:So I went to do what is usually a simple job tonight (rear pads and rotors) and ran into an issue. No name on the box and I've had them a while so can't recall. But everything clears so I don't see why there would be an issue.k98dave wrote:"The hat on the rotor is about a 1/4" taller"
That's weird who made the rotors?
