yeah, with the new toddler, and my BUSY job, taking a week worth of nights doing this wasnt worth it to me. So i had Ford mechanic do it... it sucked, but oh well. Im sure it would of been fun, well fun after the job was over that is. it cost me around 700ish.. DAMN

NAPA hose part # 10743 is a U-shaped hose that has a 5/8" diameter on one side with a 3/4" diameter on the other. Remove the hoses at the rear of the lower intake and use this hose to loop one hard line into the other....

Ur best bet is to visually see it done on YouTube, that's how I did my radiator and thermo

I did my black car. Not difficult just time consuming. I think there is a link to step by step direction in my old thread if you can find it.

Hmm. Dosen't seem too time consuming if it is just pulling the two hoses off the firewall and mating them together? Am i missing something?

Sorry I was talking about replacing the heater core. Bypass is simple

Ok. So Is that all there is to bypass? I won't get antifreeze in the car anymore?

When i first got the car the core was bypassed and i had no problem with antifreeze in the car. Just no heat.

how many of us drive these cars whens its cold? most have a daily beater, i say bypass it!
