How do I tell if my tranny is stock?

I know the cobras came with a little updated tranny and any idea or anyone know what #'s to look for on the trans housing to verify that it is the orginal trans?

I think someone mentioned that the vin# was on the original block and tranny for a 93' cobra. Not sure about that myself but would like to know if they do and where it is located. Is it a partial vin or full?

I know on my old 67-68 mustangs and shelbys that only the CJ cars had vin stampings and they were partial numbers only.

Can any one help lead me in th eright direction?
