Gauge Housing

Post by Phistry810 »

I'm not sure how to explain this exactly but the gauge housing (the big plastic piece that all the gauges are in) in my car is loose. When you look through the windshield right about the vin plate, there is about a 1/4 inch gap between this piece and the main dash. Also, I can push on it from the inside and get it to line up with the dash. Obviously something is not right. More of an annoyance than anything. Any ideas on how I might go about fixing this? Little things like this annoy me the worst. Thanks guys!

There should be two at the top right next to the windshield. Then there are a few at the very bottom underneath the steering wheel.

The ones up top are good, ill check the bottom. Will I have to take of the trim behind the steering wheel?

There is one underneath the metal black plate which itself is underneath the plastic trim. So yes.
