Air bag light flashing after radio install and dead battery

I haven't tried, service manual says remove radio

any idea what an airbag light code 44 is? i cannot find any info and its been killing me this is on my 91 gt

44 is rh headlamp sensor. See the ist topic in the garage, aorbag codes, its a sticky

Any luck with this? I've heard that I need to unplug the ground on my battery for 30 mins before unplugging module, this true?

Are you sure you didn't tap into a wire possibly related to the "blue" airbag module and is causing a fault code?

I didn't see the other two connectors, did you install factory or aftermarket radio? And I font think it will matter if u disconnect the battery first. But if you only unplug the module, the light will still be on! You have to kill power to pin 1 or pin 6

Can you please explain the pin 1 and 6 thing? I'm sorry but I'm confused on that. Is that two wires that are in the harness? Is it just one or both? If it is wires, do you know which colors they are? Sorry man but I do appreciate the help.
