Are you getting this info from the 93 Shop Manual or 93 Electrical & Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual?

Can anyone post the steps on what to do to disable the airbag in a way where the light doesnt flash and the module doesnt chirp?

No, would that work? Can I get to it by removing the AC control panel instead of the radio? Also, did you see my response/picture on the other thread?

looking at the manual to kill the light it , you would have to disconnect pin 1 or pin 6 to the module. seems completely disconnecting the module would cause the light to stay on steady. try fuse #18 its a 15 amp fuse that supllies power to the lamp, pin1, and pin 6.

Looking at my owner's manual, it says fuse #18 is for:
-Safety Belt Chime
-Warning Lights
-Fuel Injection Circuits
-Tachometer
-Idle Tracking Air Control
-Choke Restart Control
-Cooling fan/Compressor Clutch Control

So...I am afraid to remove that fuse. Fuse #7, also a 15 amp fuse, is listed as -Air Bag System. I took this one out and light still blinks.

Should I still try #18?

While the chirp/blinking light may be annoying, you sure the solution is to disable your airbag?

That may be a fix worth doing properly so your Cobra has a functioning air bag if ever needed.
