Hood Prop Retainer Install

Post by JohnLynch »

Ok, I have done this in the past, I just took off the old original one which was busted, I bought a brand new ford replacement retainer, is there a trick to get it fitted down in there? I can get the front started but the back is a pita and I dont want to scratch my car..... :x

Ya, they don't install all that well. A small screwdriver for a little added pressure will get it where it belongs.
