Oil pan bolt

Post by vinchez78 »

I changed the oil bout 3k miles ago and before I knew it forgot to put the rubber washer on the bolt, and noticed a lil drip residue on the oil pan later on, will it cause the oil to drip without the washer in place?

Yes it would. You can always just put a crush washer in they are like 50cents at advanced

Auto parts stores should have the white nylon washers for the drain plug

Just spray some undercoat over the plug, it will help the dripping..
