5 Lug Wheel swap

Post by 93vnm »

I'm going to do a 5 lug swap on my Cobra in order to run better brakes. My question is what 5 lug axle do I have to run in the rear due to the difference in offset? Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks

Offset wouldnt matter at that point - you arent going back with Factory wheels.

SN95 is the same width as a 93 cobra. -

I think 96+ is wider... not 100% sure on that.

just the complete rear and front from a 94 95 cobra then you get 5 lug with bigger brakes

OK. So I have 94-95 spindles for the front and a complete rear end from a 96 cobra. I've also got a set of oem style 93 replica 5 lug wheels that I want to use in order to keep the factory look. Now the question is what brakes (calipers) can I run on the front that will clear the wheels. Can I run 94-98 cobra PBRs?

Thanks for any input!
