Putting my v3 sci kit on this friday if everything shows up! Went with the base 5-6 psi since I wanted to keep everything pretty much stock.

Guys can you help me?..whats the part # for the V3 kit your running?..all I see is a kit for the regular 5.0 fox bodys, that's not what I need right?, or are you all just bolting that kit on and using an FMU for 24# injectors instead of the kits FMU for the 19#'s...I know no FMU and a tune is my best option but I have nowhere close that can tune and I dont want to mod the car much more than a true bolt on kit..Vortechs website says the only kit for a 93 cobra is discontinued..thanks for the help!!

Any 86-93 kit will work on your cobra. This is from Anderson Ford.

More than u need at 10lbs IMO. I'm using a 255 with 42lb injectors and a 80mm MAF at 10lbs.
Went bigger with the injectors in case I ever wanted to go with more boost in the future. Was recommended by Bob Kurgan. Wasn't that much more in price.

Hey there, On my 13ish PSI 570whp (mustang dyno) '89 coupe I ran Autolite 3923. I had an MSD ignition and coil and never had reason to believe that I had the spark blow out problem. Lot of guys gap them real tight to prevent that. If your ignition is stock you may need to. I think I was gapped at 50. (Kind of wide I guess being boosted.) Super Conductor wires too...

I think I'm gonna go with auto lite 3923s. Should I get the iridium ones? Or just stick with the copper ones?

Finally got around to installing some autolite 3923s. She runs so much better now under boost at top end. Thanks guys for all the input! Appreciate it!

Did you decide on your setup? Using Stock 24's, Maf, and the FMU? Wondering if staying around 8psi would the stock items work?

If staying with stock items, I'd recommend no more than 5-6 lbs of boost. Anything higher and you should consider upgrades to injectors, fuel pump, MAF, etc.

Ive seen people run 8psi using the stock maf and 24s. The pump would be replaced with an Aeromotive 340.

So have I. But the car will perform better if you increase the air & fuel getting to the engine at that boost level.

Couldn't agree more. Just curious if people have done a stock setup plus blower.
