The 93 I picked up this summer has a king cobra clutch in and i'm looking to replace it with one that's smother and lighter to engage. Any recommendations on which way to go? 1st fox so new to this! The car is stock except for exhaust. Only other mod I am planning on for now is gears. Thanks!

I highly recommend a McLeod RST twin disc clutch and Fidanza billet aluminum flywheel combination. The engagement of the clutch couldn't be smoother and the pedal effort is ridiculously low! I can honestly say that in over 25 years I have not driven a Fox-body Mustang with a clutch as smooth and light as this before.

I fixed the stiff clutch issue by lubing the BBK adjustable clutch cable. I read online about issues with adjustable cables so gave the lube a try! Also have a stock clutch cable im going to install to see if that improves it ever more. Glad I didn't have to replace a 500 mile clutch already!
