EGR/Diverter Valve vacuum lines

Post by svt1john »

Anyone know of a source for these vacuum lines? Friend hands were too fat for that part of engine compartment....snap. Really don't want to splice the lines or tape them together.

Well, I located a complete vacuum control line assembly but the price was too much for me. Went to the local O'Reilly Auto Parts store and bought some vacuum parts. Hard to see the splices but for $8.00, I'll be the only one who knows.

No particular problem with the vacuum lines until they broke (brittle) while preforming a tune-up and having a problematic time messing with the rear spark plug (header, etc).

However, the car has never failed the state emission test until this year. I had to replace the catalytic converters. Also, before tuneup, car ran crappy with hunting idle and/or dying (familiar?). Tune-up and cleaning idle control valve/throttle body solved everything. A lot more fun driving a Cobra again!
