Sharing pics of my "remodeled" baby :-)

Post by PapaTom »

Thought I'd share with fellow SVT enthusiasts what I've been up to other than my 93 Cobra and '90 347 SSP.

I picked her up yesterday from Shelby Autos.

-725hp package
-polished KB
-blocked out qtr windows

-complete suspension and brake package.

I'm LOVING it!

Very nice, who wouldn't want to run around in a car like that. Just be careful, word on the street is that car has an $18,000 hood, and the insurance companies have battled Shelby over damaged ones. But hey, don't crash into anything and you'll be fine!

No, the Kr Hood is 19K plus Shipping, the SS hood is only $1200 finished, $900 unfinished. Bad as SS man, Makes me wish I had Gotten my 07 DOne, but after the wreck, It just wasn't the same.

Actually, it's now $9,700 after the drubbing Shelby took on the price on various high-traffic internet boards, once it was discovered how much the replacements cost a couple of customers who had accidents and needed a new hood. I believe that the insurance companies had something to do with that as well, threatening to not insure future Shelby cars if this policy was to continue.
