Anyone have a guage on values for the 94/95 Cobras in stock form? I.e. in comparison to a 93 cobra, I know the 93 is worth more but just curious….

Here it was all tho no prices were ever said. The 8k mile car I had I finally sold for 18k and thought I got lucky on it thru the auction. The dealer that bought it ended up selling it for 16k. Id say a under 10k mile car should be in the 15k range.

Well I was watching a 94 Cobra Rio red/tan cloth bone stock 16k miles with an opening bid of $11.5k no reserve and no takers. There is another pristine 94 Rio red 36k stock listed for $12k on SVTP with a monthly bump and "0" interest. Was just starting to wonder if there is really any future collectability in store since the market has been dead.

Although no Mustang era will ever be as disappointing and uncollectable as the Mustang II (74-78), IMO the early SN-95 cars (94-98) will probably also be fairly weak as far as future collectability goes.

heres the one I was looking at, seems really under priced for $11.5k but I guess thats since its an SN-95. There was less cobras made in 95 then in 93 FYI.

I guess the better question is what made the 93 Cobra such a collectible. The 94 had more styling cues from the 64 which back in the day was pretty cool.

thoughts? :pop:

First SVT Mustang, only SVT Fox-body, most powerful Fox-body V8, only one w/17-in wheels and rear discs ... to name a few. The Fox Mustangs are way more desirable than the SN95s and the same holds true for the one year only 93 Cobra over the 94-98 Cobras even with the DOHC motor from 96-98.

like Z said, all foxbodies are desirable, the 93 cobra more so because it was a one year only deal, first year for the svt cobra, last year for the fox.

Its funny though how ford spent all that money re-styling the mustang in 94 and at the end of the day it still cant touch a fox which had 0 styling cues of the 64.

Actually, there was one. That's why the front end of the 93 Cobra was so cool. Ford brought back the running horse emblem in the grille.
