Considering that article is nearly three years old, my guess is that R may have more than 11 miles on it now.

Doubt it. I bet another collector bought it to store. There cant be too many that have the white plastic on them.

If true, that's a shame. A car like that should be driven every now and then.

What did those sticker for brand new in 2000? He's asking 70k now......Couldn't be a huge return for sitting on it for 14 years......

I believe for around $50K. Of course, that's before the dealer mark-up that was surely on that car.

BTW, you usu. don't see big gains on cars like these. A prime example is the black/grey leather w/less than 650 miles recently posted in the For Sale section. After virtually no use for 21 years, that car (which is one of the nicest low-mile stock Cobras I've seen in a while) is offered for $29,995 (only $8K or so higher than orig. sticker).

Yea they dont make good investments, better off buying some aaple stock in 93 at $12 a share and selling it today at $545
