No they are the same. I've been to OZ and a friend made me drive his car. It was strange, but at least all 3 pedals were "normal". And in the pic, you can see the longer accelerator pedal still on the right. On this car blinker is still on left, I think his Holden it was on left also.

Coworker friend of mine has buddies in Australia.........bunch of gear head, dirt track racers. His Australian friend have a bit of cash so once a year he sends over a shipping container or two to them with motors, bikes, cars, etc. One year he sent over a Vette and it had to have the right hand conversion before going over. Australia won't let them in without the conversion. It was a $15-20k conversion if memory serves me right, and this was probably 10 years ago.

once you break your right wrist, shifting left handed is a piece of cake (yes across your body) ask me how I know.....
