Yes, this is the correct radio for our cars. A couple of us have bought radio's from him within the last year and they are as described. A bit pricey for a used one, but they're getting hard to come by of late.

I have bought one from this guy, honest and a quick shipper. I bought one with the factory amp and wiring. I had a popping noise when i turned the factory tape deck up so I didn't know what the problem was, just the radio though. I would really like to know where he gets all of them that he sells?

Well I've got an Alpine head unit in dash and JBL 4-way amp under the passenger seat, all Pioneer speakers and 12" sub in back. The stock look appeals to me, so..... its only money right ?

I paid his asking price for all of the radio stuff, if you email him he may take a little less for it shipped you never know unless you ask!

Yeah he's been selling a lot of them on there lately, listing them one at a time. Look at his old listings, He's been using the same photos for every listing which kinda scares me but if you guys have no complaints I guess it's not a big deal.
I wonder if he is refurbishing them? We all know those cd players didn't work very well.
Guys that bought from him, did the cd player have the F3 part number sticker on them?

Mine does and it was manufactured in april when my car was built so it was a perfect match! I would say he is doing repair on them and reselling them.

Did you buy that CD player??? If not I think the winning bidder beat me out on a set of OE black floor mats about 2 weeks ago.

Yeah I bought it. A little more than I wanted to pay but there hasn't been a real 93 cd for sale for awhile. No I didn't buy any black floormats so that wasn't me

HE GUYS JUST TO LET YOU KNOW. THE SAME PLAYER CAN BE FOUND IN CONTOURS WINDSTARS TARUS UP TO 2000 (all you have to do is swap the faceplate its snaps off.swap the lower mounting plate) that how its done) its so easy a 6 year old can do this! you dont have to pay the so called cobra player!! (just make sure it has the clock button) they are plenty of them around will make great spares!!!!

I guess that the faceplate is available from Ebay or LMR along with the mounting bracket ?

The faceplate is an easy swap, however you have to watch these other radios. There are a bunch of different chassis the interanls of these are mounted in and the whole assembly is soldered to the bottom board. The configuration on the back can be different also, with the antenae in a different location as well as the hookup. And oh ya, the bracket is riveted to the bottom plate.
Don't expect to find anyone with these parts. Ebay is hit or miss, and every now and again you can find a NOS faceplate.........one on there now.

So, pay the big money or not? The same guy has a radio listed on ebay for $75 for a 92-2000 mustang contours probe...

I can tell the one I got was worked on, i'm sure he's refurbishing them since these were junk from the factory and broke right away.
If he's switching the guts out of a working cd player and putting them in a 93 Stang cd player he's probably making them better than they left the factory, lol. On mine the face and riveted plate are legit, the hookups look right too but I haven't installed it yet so I wont vouch for that yet.
