Looking for factory 93 Cobra struts, preferably manufactured before June 1993...good take-offs will be considered, as will any info for vendors who may have some in stock

GT's and LX's will not work, as the internal valving (rate) is different

this says they are 93 cobra ??? I know you want the date code but Why is the date so important? can or will anyone look at it.

If they are date coded back till 93, they might not be any good either.

I would totally agree with you, if they are date coded back to 93 and someone replaced them, then they are more than likely worn out. But if you find a drag racer or road racer that took them off with little to no miles you might be in luck. But like me, I keep everything I replace that way I can turn it back to complete stock. I have a friend with tons of our parts on hand that he has bought up. Ill ask him if he has a set and I will let you know. Bryan

I think unless you are showning MCA Gold Class Date codes are not improtant, and they don't even look at them, as long as it has the correct part # on it, also I use 03/04 Mach Struts and Shocks in my 93's Factory Tackio stuff, pluss they are not very expensive and have just about the same ride quality, just my take on it.

Yes, these are for a low mileage, original survivor car, thus, the importance of date
