Ford Explorer Intake

Post by Cobrafan01 »

Hay guys, I have a question:

I have a upper and lower intake manifold that I pulled from a non running early 90's Ford Explorer. It's basically what came on the 93 Cobra.

I was wondering how much could I get for it if I got it professionally cleaned, and how much could I get for it as is (dirty).

The thing about them is they are everywhere for sale so I would say around 100 dollars seem pretty fair. That is about what I can get them for around here!

The only thing explorer Bringing good money is 96 GT-40 heads, they have a smaller CC chamber and make more power than both the P and the 93-gt40 heads. 96 Heads are hard to find though.

No, 96 Explorers ran regular GT-40 heads, only difference was a slightly smaller CC, single valve springs not dual and no emissions hole in the back of the heads. I have a nice set I just picked up. they are not X-heads, they are cast iron GT-40's
