3.55's and Ford Racing plug wires.

The gears have never been used, they are in the box. The Ford Racing Plug wires have about 6k on them. They were for my 1993 Cobra. Make an offer. Ill never use them.

They are blue. Thats why I took them off. I wanted the engine to look stock. The guy I bought it from had the blue plugs on it which I didnt like. FYI, I just bought "black" autolite premiums from advance auto parts for about 40 bucks and they have been great so far.

Big Frank,

I looked at the gears. They are for sure 3.55's. It looks to have a ford part number on the box, but I am not sure. They look to be new, but I am not very familiar with gears. I think I can get them in flat rate box for $8.95 at the post office. 50 bucks sound fair? Let me know.

If you knew for sure what manufacture the gears were, and if they were new, I would probably take them.

Well, one of the reasons I got the KEnne Bell is so I wouldn't have to change gears. But I think my car would be a wicked neck snapper with some lower gears. Most guys you talk to say don't bother with 3:55's and just go right to 3:73's, but I disagree. I think it's the best of both worlds.

I know I hae asked you this before but what is your rpm at 75mph? I'm at just under 2k at 75mph with 3:08's

I like to take care of fellow mustangers. If you want me to send them to you to look at I will. If you like what you see keep them and send me what you want. They will literally sit in my garage and collect dust. I would rather see them go fast.

Dude, if you aren't racing then 3:55's are where it's at. I did my research and 90% of people said 355 is "the best of both worlds". I can't remember exactly but I think I am at like 2300 at 75MPH, not that bad at all.

I gotta go change oil her, maybe I'll hit up the interstate and let ya know.

EDIT: Yeap, it's 2300RPM at 75mph with the aftermarket white (I believe) trans gear.

Back in the day (10 years or so ago) when I owned #1775, I ran 3.08's and 3.55's. This current car came with 3.73's when I bought it a few months ago. I think I liked the 3.55's better for driving around town. I love the grunt that comes with the 3.73's, but sometimes I feel that 1st gear is almost a waste. And I spend a lot of time in 5th gear, even running around here on suburban streets.
