I accidently deleted Dantak's post , Sorry, here is what he said=

Billy, were your wheels chromed the last time I saw your car? Where did you have it done and how much did it cost?

Dustin, yes my wheels were originally dealer chromed in Cali where the car was sold at.

Unfortunatly they were severely pitted up. I sold them to a guy in Denver who says he was going to get them rechromed. I had looked into getting them completely fixed and it was going to cost $1000-1200 to get the 3 layers chromeing process removed, aluminum pitting fixed, then polished, shipping, etc....

I bought another set of painted stockers which my drag radials are on.

The wheels you are seeing are my new replica rims. They are 17 x 8.5" wide so I can properly fit a 275 in the rear and attempt to gain traction with my supercharger install..

Also, they are black-chrome finish which trips people out if they have never seen it before. I was the only car to have that chrome finish at the whole show (that I saw, out of 500+ stangs).

I posted some more pictures in the photo gallery a while back. Need to get some more pics up....

Billy,
Your wheels looked great in person. I like how they changed depending how the sun hit them, sometimes chrome, sometimes closer to black, very cool!!
