1993 Vibrant red #2476- testing the waters
I am testing the waters with my 93 vibrant red. She is #2476 of 4993. As far as i can tell she has 114,000 on the body which is in excellent condition (no accidents and VIN tags in place). The car is originally from Arizona and California. I bought it alst year and had it shipped from Cali since it was everything i was looking for. The cars engine has been rebuilt to factory specs along with an excellent vibrant red paint job (including the engine bay). All work was done by a reputable shop in California. I have been working on finishing up trim pieces and other minor things but have lost interest. I dont get the car out as much as i would like to. Please let me know what you guys think its worth. Car is not perfect but I would like to sell it for about $16k. Thanks.
MODS:
- Max. motorsport springs all around
- Koni shocks
- Cross drilled rotors
- BBK X pipe with Bassani exhaust
- Centerforce clutch
Front seats have been recovered with the opal gray leather and they turned out awesome
im sure im forgetting a few things. I can send more pics if interested.

Why was the engine rebuilt? Should be like new with those miles.

My take is $13-15k to the right buyer. I am not a big fan of recovered seats. Mine has 132k miles and the factory leather is still in great shape. I like original though so to each his own. Good luck with the sale it looks clean.

In my personal experience 100k 5.0 motors well taken care of and maintained properly have yet to show wear. I've had quite a few daily drivers over 250k all stock still not burning oil when highway driven.Z282SLO wrote:Like new with approx. 114,000 miles? Not quite.800bman wrote:Why was the engine rebuilt? I never said anything about "like new". Car was in the process of being restored by previous owner. I took it over and its not the "one" for me. It is in great shape over all and runs awesome. I have videos if people want to see. Car is still for sale

^^^
To lessen the apparent confusion, my "like new" comment had nothing to do with the car. It was in response to the comment that an engine with 114K miles could be considered "like new".

Last of VIN 5PF154488. Motor was rebuilt by Radical Autosports in Ventura California. They really did a nice job. It was rebuilt back to factory specs because owner prior to last was trying to restore it. Simple as that.

Up on eBay now. In your description you say you think it's 114k miles but the carfax clearly shows 148k. Great looking car still and a nice restoration. Just wanted to point out the mileage difference, that's almost 50% off.
Re: 1993 Vibrant red #2476- testing the waters
Correct it does show that an I CLEARLY explained why. You need to understand that California smog inspection does NOT require the car to even be there upon inspection. The technicians guess at the mileage base on the previous smog and the year of the car. I am trying to be as honest as possible here.
