Anyone know anything about this car?

One thing I find interesting, is it has a million mile odometer but has a Chicago DSO. I've only been aware of the NY state requirement of this odometer and that some cars sent to surrounding NY states may also have it.

Too bad the seller doesn't have the original sticker.

It's interesting to see little oddities like this. Or at least it is for me.

speedo could have been changed or it could have been a dealer trade to or from NY ? or maybe just a special order

I have seen this car forsale a few times, It is 100% stock, other than the Trans, it has a Tremec trans in it. The ODO is original to that car, I talked to the original owner about a year ago when he sold it, then it was sold again after that, then now on e-bay. That is all the info I have on the car. I think it came out of IL or around their new.

When I spoke to the original owner, well I think it was his son or son inlaw he told me the speedo was original, And he had upgraded the trans. Not sure why anone would do that to a stock 93 Cobra

Ask him for Pictures of the Trans it has a Tremec trans in it. He may not know, if the Prior owner didn't tell him. I have seen this one forsale a few time, E-bay, then Auto trader now e-bay again, The Big Cobra emblem on the dash is not Stock either! That is how I know it is the same car. Plus I keep track of the Vin's I see forsale on e-bay. Will help in the Future. Also look at the shifter in the pictures, I have never seen a stock one sit/look like that.

why did some come with a 6 digit odometer, and some with a 5 digit? for the longest time, I thought all 93's came with the 6 digit odometer, but after owning a few, I realized that they still had the 5 digit odometer???

New York cars were required to have a 6 digit odometer some others may have as well.

Hey guys,

I'm the guy who had it last on Ebay. I'm glad it didn't sell. Things worked out wierd and I got to keep it.

I was shocked to see that you someone here found it has a Tremec. honestly, I don't even know for sure. I've just tucked into the garage and haven't driven it much.

Does anyone know a bit of history on this car?
