I just got off the phone with the dealer and told him the true history of the car and he pulled the auction.

He didn't know anything about what happened to it... Very nice guy.

I sent him a link to this page this morning, and also told him about the history. Glad he was a cool guy. Probably trying to sell it for that other dipwad that had it on ebay eariler.

This morning he mentioned that he wasn't worried about it because he had legal recourse against the person that traded it.

what legal recourse?? Its not illeagle to trade in a car that has been crashed! Cars are crashed and repaired to beter than new all the time! Think about all the high dollar muscle cars that are on ebay and berret jackson and other places that are going for 50k-60k-100k hell even up to a million for some Hemi cars. Do you have any idea how many of those were pulled out of fields or barns or hill sides in the back ass woods some where in A LOT worse shape than old number 66 here. Now of course if some one is trying to tell you that this is a mint untouched car they are misleading you and that is wrong but anybody who is really into these cars will notice the vin tags. When buying a used car it is always buyer bewhere.

I agree with you. I asked him that exact question. If his guys looked at it, he bought it. He seemed to think that he could go back to the guy that traded it in and get him to take it back if his attorneys handled it.

Now if a person bought a car and didnt want it do you think the dealer would even consider buying it back. Probably not.

Yea but you are a member that has been here. This guy joins just to sell his car then gets pissy when someone tells him the true story of it. So one post selling and two post fussing at long time members, not a good way to start off.

I love the massive understatement in the listing where it says in the Accidents section - "Minor Issue". What a joke!!

An even bigger joke is the buy it now price of $16K.

Back again, looks like the same seller as in Jan. I guess he'll try until a buyer comes along who doesn't come here.
