WTB 93 Cobra or Fox Body Saleen

Post by PapaTom »

Guys I need your help. I'm also searching on Corral.

I would feel very guilty diriving my 93 with its condition, so I want to pick up a daily driver Fox.

Either Cobra or Saleen. I've seen some rough stuff out here in CA. I don't mind traveling and driving back, or having it shipped.

I came across this online. What do you think? Has minor issues.

If you have anything to offer or know of anything please post. My max is $8500

Aaron, Vibrant.....

Thanks a lot guys for your offers, but although I can probably even swing it to buy both, I have to be conservative with this purchase. I bought a 90 ssp notch last night for a little over $3k. Small mods, pretty much stock or easily converted back to stock. But the plans are though to drive daily being that its at 133k miles and had a repaint. Maybe starting next year the tear down begins to make it into a sleeper.

I'll post pics when I pick up the car.

Thanks guys for your quick responses!

There's was an SSP for sale, mint with 11miles for like $45k.

They look pretty badass. Sounds like you got a good deal for 3k. Even a dime-a-dozen 133k GT would fetch at least 3k.

Here are a few pics of the SSP Notch I picked up. Now I can drive a Fox and let the 93 Cobra get it's beauty sleep.

Oops, I was thinking of SAAC.

What is SSP? What's special about that car? Besides, being a notch, LOL.

The seller couldn't figure out why it just didn't seem to run right. I trailered it home and got under the hood right away.

TWO spark plugs were about to shoot out. They were hanging on by about one thread. One spark plug had the ceramic completely broken off!!!

Needless to say, It runs awesome and pulls hard.

Now that I got this, I can direct some attention and goodies for the 93 Cobra so she won't feel left out
