Is $7000 too much?

I am looking at a 93 Cobra about 2 1/2 hours away from me. Before I tie up 5-6 hours for nothing I was wondering if 7k is too much for a 73k mile 93 Cobra that has a salvage title? The car was hit left rear right behind te tire. only the 1/4 was painted and blended ovr onto the hatch.

Car ha a complete griggs suspension, all stock motor except for a TFS Stage I cam. Gray cloth interior.

I'm not a body man...what do I look for to know if it as fixed right or not? My concern is if I get a a jam and need to free up cash in a hurry would I be able to get 7K out fo the car or would I likley loose my shirt?

7k doesnt sound bad, the salvage title wouldnt bother me , if i wanted it, (i have like 4 salvage title 93s) if you look at it, look for the door edge gap, the gap along the rear hatch, and color match. if it was hit in the wheel drive it and make sure the wheel and or axle isnt bent, you should be able to move the mirror so that you can see the tire/wheel while driving.

If its the car in Kannapolis it is worth it. I was going to buy it before the guy that has it now.

here is the only picture the seller says he has of the repair process...how bad does this look like it was hurt?

are all the waves bondo?

Looks like very little filler would have been used after it was worked out.

It looks like they banged the 1/4 and rear taillight panel back out so the body panels could be bolted on, and I would imagine that they only straightened out the part of the 1/4 that's visible, the rest being covered by the bumper and lights.

Car has five lug conversion and PBR rear calipers - looks like a very good deal for 7K if it runs and drives right.

I was going to say the same thing, its not an "R" is it?

No its not a R. full R 5lug conversion tho with full griggs suspension. Worth the money IMO.

i live about an hour from where this car is and its nice it sold on carolina rides from rockingham if you search carolinarides.com you can find some pics of when it was for sale hope this helps it sold before i got there

A friend of mine Bought the car OFF SVTP for like 3500 out of TX. He pulled the quarter the way you see it here. The Guy who has it now Painted the Quarter panel, and the Front nose. Well worth 7K it has at least 5K worth of parts on it.
