This guy lives in my neighborhood I can vouche for the car. He has all documents that ever came with it and even has front plate bracket in the package. All original. Only think changed is the battery. I know people have been calling and negotiating with big offers. I know two guys (maybe from here) are callin nonstop for it and offered up to 21,000 for it. It is a real show piece.

DAMN! wish you didnt post this in here. I have been on this car since about an hour after it was listed on CL. Ive called a couple times but still have not recived any of the pictures I asked for. I planed on having it in my garage this week if everything checks out but apparently not if somebody is dumb enuff to offer more than his asking price. FYI the car was listed cheaper and they raised the price the next day.

Yup. He has a guy doin the work for him. But I can tell you the car is all there. All tags are on it. Only thing is it has an aftermarket alarm system on it that was installed when he bought it new. I had a chance of getting this but another guy got involved and that is who you are dealing with...

Offers are one thing. Cash money in hand, standing in your driveway are another.

At the 17k, the car was a steal. At 20k, I'd say it's still worth it to the right person. 21k, you want it pretty badly. It is after all Teal with black cloth.
It looks to be everything that the seller claims, so somebody is ging to get a really nice car.

As bad as I want one....if it's really going over the 20k mark. Forget it.

At $17k, what a deal. At least you could a few thousand miles on it over time and not feel guilty.

I'm sure they're playing things out to make the most money possible. Once guys find out things are worth more then what the originally thought, trying to make a reasonable deal is almost impossilbe.
They get stupid in the head.

I sold my 45 Mile teal car for $25.000 I can't see where this car i worth 20K in todays market, I have owned 4 teal Black Sunroof cars, You see them all the time. Now I may have sold my car too cheap. But it is only worth what smeone is willing to pay.

I think the owner only wants around 16K for the car, but the guy working the deal is trying to figure a way to put some in his pocket. I called 1 time just too see what the deal was and if he was on the up and up, all got was the old, he will call you trick, still no phone call as of yet. If anything him trying to market the car will hurt his deal. The first money is the best money

Well, the middle man in all of this is going to figure out real quick that the demand is waaaaaay down on these cars. Between the economy in general, and all of the newer Mustangs on the market, it makes for a hard sell when you reach the 20 grand mark. People logically think "Well, for 20k I can go buy an 03/04 Cobra with low miles with 500hp out of the box".

I cant agree more that is only worth what someones wiling to pay and I know the amount of cash im willing to be standing in his driveway with this week... its not 20. There is also some speculation now that the sunroof is after market. if thats true i wouldnt even give 15.

I am sure their are more than 1 Teal Black car around with that kind of miles, I know of at leat 2 Teal Black cars with less miles. No they are not currently forsale.

I highly doubt it's the lowest mile Teal/Black car out there. Too many guys bought these cars for the sole purpose of parking them and sitting on them........I could never do it. I will say though the car is one of very few.

If that car has an aftermarket sunroof in it, that guy is toast.
