Show Ready ’93 Cobra

If you have been looking for an unmolested and original Cobra you understand how hard it is to find an example like this. This is a rare 1993 Fox-Bodied Cobra SVT has only 22,700 miles.

This beautiful Cobra has some very rare and desirable options. Please note that in addition to the standard options this car has the sunroof, rear window defroster, gray leather seating, 4-way power driver seat and the stereo/cd player as upgraded options. With the exception of a BBK cold-air intake, this car has not been modified in anyway and even has its original exhaust and original tires. The original air intake and Cobra floor mats will come with this car.

Remember they did not make many of these fox-bodied Cobras and most of them have been highly abused and modified plus most of them have been exposed to the elements and quite a few have been driven in the snow and ice. This is not one of those Cobras! This car is driven primarily to car shows during the months of April thru November. December thru March this vehicle is garaged, kept covered and started occasionally to be driven around the block. The quality and maintenance of this vehicle is told by its various 1st and 2nd place trophies such as 2007 Motorama—2nd Place and 2008 USMCF Autorama---1st Place.

1 of 1079 built in this combination; this vehicle is #2386 of the 4993 produced. This vehicle has been pampered and diligently cared for. Lots of documents included dating back to the original purchase on 07/12/1993. All original paint, body, engine and interior. All inspection, trim, suspension tags in place. Everything is excellent condition and fully functional. These cars are almost nonexistent in this unmolested condition making this a true investment car with its included documentation. Clean clear title in hand for immediate sale. The buyer is responsible for pick-up and/or all transportation fees. Able to transfer title on scheduled date of pick-up after payment transaction. The request for additional photos or info should be directed to me through Ebay.

This vehicle is being sold AS IS with no implied or expressed warranty...All sales are final. Please have all funding in order prior to bidding. A $1000 non-refundable deposit is due immediately at the end of the auction and full payment must be received within 7 days of the end of the auction. All remaining balance must be made in the form of a Bank/Certified/Cashier's Check.

Originally a Michigan car.

Christ though. Not sure where these guys are coming up with their pricing. And what's up with the flood of black cars all of the sudden?

Well the starting bid is 18,500 and the other 20,000mile car brought 19,500 last week.... And this one has more (collectable) options than the last two... Plus im a opal leather guy.... The black cloth interior always looks faded and durty in the cobras.... Just my two cents.... But yeah, definately some very very nice preserved black 93cobras popping up lately.....

Well, IMO you have to take the Ebay BS with a grain of salf. Half the time you don't know if anyone is shill bidding the car, and the other time the sale never goes through.

As as far as options go, the cloth car from last week should be worth a bit more than this car with the cloth option. The fewer the options, the more they're worth.

As far as the black cloth looking faded, yep, a lot of times it does. Much of it has to do with lighting, but some of the interiors are just that, worn.

Yes definately, it seems there is alot of bidding games on ebay, and it seems to show on cars of this nature or caliber.... But, sometimes they do actually bring what they should be worth.... And iv'e never looked at it that way.... I always had in my mind, the more options the better... Just like the black interior, it is a rarer choice and build number, but, the leather interior was the "premium" choice.... So which one is more desirable to a collector...? think its just up to the person's taste.... But i can see your point too... The fewer the options on a car, could make it rare'r in certain circumstances.... I would like to know tho, from the diehard 93 enthusiasts on this site, what percentage of the 93cobra's had the optional moonroofs..... Ive heard that someone or someone related to this site, had some information like that, but its never been disclosed....

That blue and chrome BBK junk under the hood looks tragically out of place on such an unmarred car. Happily, it's an easy fix.

The ad says the original intake comes with it, x2 on all these black cars up for sale lately! Only if I could find one in the combo I would like!

Yep, definitely personal choice for the most part.

I don't know that I've ever seen any hard numbers verifying how many sunroof cars were built in any of the color combinations.

The moderator told me a rough number of 152 for black on black with a sunroof! Hard telling about the others maybe he will chime in here!
