Both the SVT doc and window sticker are re-prints, my guess is, this car was just found by luck, and being flipped. I to noticed, the front cover was not lined up very well on the drivers side. Like I said, this would be a good car to have and drive once in a while.
Strange they dont have the original paperwork. Aaron what do you think it is worth?

No idea, I do not think they are the original owners. I say 18K depends on who is looking.

could have been replaced by the orginal dealer also..but you dont know unles you can find out the 1st owners

years ago back in 99-00 local kid had a teal/gray leather he was 2nd owner low miles 20k iirc after looking it over i noticed one of the fenders was missing a VIN tag ...after making calls and talking to the 1st owner he found out when car was new at dealer someone hit it and had a small dent ...instead of fixing it dealer put on a new fender

That happens a lot, I think once Fin Stickers become avaliable, it will no longer be an issue, sure all original cars will be more desirable, but if you have one fully restored, I think they will be worth just as much. Just my 02,

Yea I'd say you are right if you look at most of the early stuff going thru the auctions today even the low mile cars have been restored. Every now and then there will be an all original go thru but they all bring about the same money.

spoke with him today, he has no idea why there is no vin tag on the front bumper, says he never asked the story behind it when he bought it from the other owner 2 years ago....maybe it really was damanged at Ford somehow, when you bought NOS body parts from ford back in the day they didnt have vin stickers correct???

So it should at least have that somewhere on the front bumper?

Yea I cant remember on the bumper. I know the hood and fenders were in the same place as original just said Ford DOT and some of the hood stickers were on the drivers side, but dont recall on the bumpers where it was.

Did it sell? Or expire?

RDOT sticker would be on the inside of the front cover. You would have to pull it off to see it, or possibly on a lift see it from underneath

Traction control? :D

Wasn't Ogden Lincoln where Cobra R #107 was for sale for the longest time for more than $100K? Looks like they price their Cobras similarly.

Nice dark photos, wonder what the story is behind it making its way out there?
