LOL dude put some gay smoked lights on it and is now trying to trade it for an Excursion. Oh he said he'd take $16,500. Everyone is trying to make a buck these days. It has 75k miles on it now.

It took awhile to sell at $13k not sure it's going to happen at $16k. Clean car for the mileage though.

He said he just had the tranny rebuilt and he added those knight rider headlights?

Highly agree with the gay headlight comments, but, glad that's all he has done to it, and at least it's easily reversible.

I'm wanting to purchase an Excursion to pull my 66 Mustang to all the major shows coming up next year. I didn't list a sales price because that is not what I intended to do. When an ad says will trade for Excursion why would you contact me to ask for a sales price. But since you did $16.5 sounds good. Headlights were given to me and I thought I'd check them out. The originals are in a box nicely wrapped in the attic. I have smoked fog lights and tailights as well waiting to be installed. I had the tranny rebuilt and it now feels great. I drive the car everyday 5 miles to work. I'm also considering having the car completely wrapped to protect original paint and maybe do some Autocrossing and drive cross country to MCA shows. Probably sell my 2012 Jeep JK and pick up an Excursion. Hope that's not gay. Merry Xmas

First welcome to the site.
Merry Christmas also!

As comments were made about the headlights, and that we can't take those gay comments back now. No harm intended, you just have to understand that we're taking by surprise with such a mod for a well known teal/blk. Your car has some history on this forum, good history at that. Also, there's not many mid-mileage Teal/Blk's in such great shape as yours left.

Anyways, enjoy it or sell it! No matter, it's still really nice teal/blk.

I actually don't think the smoked headlights look gay. Don't you guys remember every foxbody mustang back in the day having the black gts headlight and taillight covers on them. I think they look cool. 8)

Since I owned that car for 4 years (I lived in Houston also) and wish I had it back, it's just frustrating to see such tasteless mods done to it. Sorry, but just my opinion. As for the smoked taillights & fog lights, I'm afraid those fall into the same category. Lol. But, to each his own.

It's a great car and incredibly clean for the miles. I bought it from a guy in League City, who purchased it from the GM of a Ford dealer in Vegas.

Welcome and best of luck...

I completely understand. It is a great car and the only time I had a doubt about buying it was when I saw the bad ass Coupe he had next to it. My 66 is a Pro Touring Restomod, also had a 93 SSP Coupe that I was going to restore but sold it. The Cobra was just so nice I had to have it. I'm just not a purist, but seeing so many coupes for the same price and 10x crappier it made it easy to buy. I will tell you that any mods I do can be reversed. I don't mind differing opinions but I'm just not the kind of person to trash any car enthusiast.

1st National MCA show for 2013 is Ponies at the Park in Beaumont TX
Hope to see yall there. I'll even throw the original lights back on for ya.

Peace
