Shipping from FL to NC is probably at least $1k, so there is probably at least $20k in it with his asking price I don't think I would define it as hefty.

The original seller in FL was asking $18.8. My guess is the car sold for less. Even with shipping charges, this seller is certainly going for a very nice return on his investment. Sound better than hefty profit?

Or he paid $18.8 shipped for $1200= 20k figures if he lists it for $20k he will get offers for sub 20k I could argue this as well your honor

I agree DB don't see why someone would spend $20k hoping to make a grand that's just stupid

It does seem stupid but where can you get a return of $1000 without locking the cash out of hand for year, months? When flipping cars, a big profit is minimum unless you can buy the on your buddy's dealer license and then sell them. When I'm not so busy I try to flip a few here and there.JohnLynch wrote:dbrennancobra wrote:^^^^^^^ Not worth all the hassle and time and overhead of money - into car to hope for a few thousand. IMO
