If you check the manufacturer (ford)... Opal Grey parts are double the cost of black. If you had to restore, going to black would be a lot cheaper. you can get aftermarket parts black... opal grey is hard to come by...IMO! someone took the time to restore to fib the actual miles...not good :nono:

X3. Not worth it, especially w/the mileage issue.

Someone went to an awful lot of trouble to completely change that interior considering all the components involved.

Astute observation, Sherlock. ;)

Up for auction: 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra # 4499 of 4993 produced

This is a daily driver or weekend cruiser. The car is not a show car, however it is very presentable for a 21yr old car.

The car was repainted 1 time - Repaint is 5-10 foot job. The car is straight & only spot of rust is on the rear deck lid (common for this year)

The engine is original, the car runs great, has plenty of power, it has never been opened up to my knowledge. still wears original gt40 iron cylinder heads/cobra intake/1.7 roller rockers. The car has short tube headers, off road x pipe, & flowmaster catback exhaust. it runs & drives great, doesn't smoke or leak any fluids on the ground. The mileage is 185,xxx. it will go up a little due to it being my driver.

The mass air sensor is stock 70mm unit, injectors are stock 24lb units

The transmission is factory hd unit - doesn't grind under or a load, shifts smooth, has hurst shifter w/knob & trim kit.

The rear has stock gears (3.08) & factory rear disc brakes

The wheels are stock - Tires are like new - Goodyear on all 4 corners

The A/C blows cold

The interior shows well - From my research it was originally opal gray, it was converted prior to my ownership. As the paint, it shows well but isn't new. The seats are out of a 91, the driver seat foam is sagging.
some of the panels appear to be black, some are dyed. It all looks consistent & it didn't bother me. If I keep it I will probably convert it back to the way it came from the factory.

The car does have a aftermarket cd player & the rear speakers have been replaced.

factory sunroof car - doesn't leak & rear defroster

Since I bought it, I have replaced the front struts & rear shocks to kyb units. I put a remanufactured steering rack & installed new outer tie rod ends & had it aligned.

All vin tags are on every body panel

manual seats

so no accidents

I've recently driven the car from Dothan Alabama to Orlando FL, it gave me no problems, I drive it 40-60 miles a day, it is my current daily driver. It has a clean Alabama Title, however the car is located in Orlando Florida.

The radiator is an aftermarket aluminum w/electric fan. the water pump was recently replaced.

I would have no problem driving this car anywhere as it sits.

The headlights are original and discolored
The power locks are not operative - passenger door will not lock - actuator is froze up
The power mirrors are not working

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I am selling the car because I have a 2004 Cobra that I prefer to drive.

I am not interested in any type of trades. please do not bid if you do not have cash to pay/or pick up the car.

I will not deliever the car ! I want cash at the time the title is handed over ! If you are local please feel free to come kick the tires.

The car is being sold as is, no warranty. Please look at the pictures, the car is nice, but not a 20k dollar low mileage garage queen.
