True ... but if not the factory paint job, why not touch-up/refinish the acid marks? I'm guessing paint is factory.

I'm afraid someone is going to be very disappointed in that car..Alternator not original and the alternator shield is missing as well as the plug wires being non original. I think it is a 108k mile car.

So you took a drive and looked at the car?

I think it is an 8K car, look at the paint on the tail lights, They look brand new, So does the rest of the paint, I do not see a Vin Tag on the hood though, but may be in a different area, notice the rear cover vin tag is in the center of the bumper cover, you can see it, This is an early car, so some tags may be in the wrong spot, the quarter panel tags are way DOwn low, not up high like most late cars. I think it is a good buy if you can get it for under 15K, do some HARD detailing under the hood, and find a nice OEM set of wires, and some map pocket repairs.

My old argument is still true, I seen some LOW mileage car that looked High Mileage, and some High that look LOW

I did not..just my observations from the pictures and experience with these cars along with many other cars. Maybe it is really 8k miles. Just expressing my opinion. Sorry if I hurt anyones feelings. Just trying to assist any 93 Cobra brother from getting burned.

Take more than some hard detailing. Paint coming off of grill. Looks like the AC condenser fins are mashed. Just too many obstacles to over come on a 8k mile car. Gotta remember its been in Puerto Rico so who knows what could be hidden about it.

Carfax shows nothing it is on the first page. Shows being delivered and never any mileage reported.

What does being in Puerto Rico have to do with 'hidden' problems?

Because going by carfax there has never been anything reported on it so how lax is Puerto Rico about reporting anything. Probably be hard to track down anything about the history of it.

Is Puerto Rico really much different than the 50 states that Carfax frequently gets wrong?
