Great out of 93 cobra production I would say no if you are looking for a rare combo. Did you buy the car?

So are your saying a car combo made at 1000 pieces that is 20 years old is not a rare piece?? Who knows how many are left out of 1000 made with 8000k. My 09 GT500KR was supposed to be rare also. Even if it's not I'm looking for an awesome 93 Cobra which is rare and beautiful IMO. This particular car still has the Ford line stickers on the windows, Cobra mats that are sealed and all documentation down to every little factory sticker. I'm inquiring! Anyone know of a better example as I'm on the hunt this week!! I'm going to make it my X-mas present.

Something is up with the headlights, and the sticker on the air box is cut... See you can find something wrong in every car. And I'm sure there is more..

From what I understand it went from a heated garage to the snowy outside. So it fogged up. That cut is not that bad but your right! And, oh yes, there are flaws in every car!

Including many right from the factory. Hell, most of the really well-done restorations you see are better than when the cars were brand-new.

Agreed.

Just in comparing the build quality of my '93 to my '03 Cobra...the Terminator was leaps and bounds better overall. The new cars (MY '14) are even better than the '03 was!

I know! The new GT500's are badass (200 mph...um, YESS!) but I don't know if they're so badass that they warrant the $60K sticker on them.

I have two 2014 GT 500's, One was 55k, other was 56K, and options where Recaro seats, and car cover. If you bought a BASE BASE car, you can get in on for around 53K and some Change. Base cars went up like $500 in April. My First car was bought in March, I orderd it in Jan, and 2nd was Built in October, I got it middle of November.

The 60K plus cars are going to loos a lot of Value this year, so if your buying one, I wouldnt buy one loaded up, Just my Opinion on that.

As for Quality, I have a 93 Cobra, 04 Cobra and new 500's, For there time period, they where all A+ Cars.

I am not a big fan of the new 2015, and Ford has no plans to make a new SVT Product anytime soon. I think the 2013/14 Is going to be the last ot the real Mustang. Right now there are plenty on lots, But you will have to get what is out there as no more are being built.

IMO $60K is a relative bargain. What other new vehicle (with the exception of the Camaro ZL1 or Corvette) gives you similar performance from the factory without spending WAY MORE than $60K?

We'll have to agree to disagree then, if I'm gonna drop $60K on a car it's not gonna be that car.

We actually don't disagree ... I was saying that $60K is a bargain for that kind of performance from the factory when most similar cars cost $30K+ higher. I love Mustangs, but $60K for a Ford ... not a chance!!

I paid $60k on my GT500KR right in the middle of the market crash. The sticker was $87K. They were going for $125k when they first came out as people were overpaying when they were first released. Shelby signed my dash also. Probably should of kept it. Then purchased a 91 LX with 30k but wasn't to my liking, SOLD, then a 92GT from a huge mustang collector but were many flaws that I couldn't take,SOLD. Then the GT500 vert and CS, SOLD for Jeep SRT. Obviously we can't compare build quality form 93 to today. But I've always missed my 93 and will have one very soon.
