Sorry for the newbie question, but is missing the vin tag and stickers on the radiator support a bad thing? Does it imply it was in an accident or that the parts aren't original? For $14k and 102k miles, this is the price/color combo I'm looking for, just don't want to waste my time on a car that's been wrecked, damaged or has a shady past. Thanks!Z282SLO wrote:Missing DS vin tag and all stickers on front radiator support assembly. No ignition coil cover.

Ah that makes a lot of sense! Thank you! And I'm kinda thinking the same thing as you, that it has had some sort of work done due to a fender-bender. Thanks again!Z282SLO wrote:^^^
These things don't necessarily indicate a major problem, but are "red flags" that should be more carefully looked into before a purchase decision is made. In most cases, these types of missing stickers mean those parts have, at a minimum, been repainted. Of course, the car could also have been in an accident that required replacement of those parts. Just make sure you do your homework on this car. Based on everything I could see from the pics and listings posted in this thread, my gut feeling on this car is that it has had some front-end damage repair.
And no need to apologize for the question. That's how you learn. Good luck!
