#4300 Red/GrayCloth/Modded 65k $21,500 CO.

Post by WillyB93 »

For sale is an original 93 Vibrant Red Cobra, number 4300 out of 4993, built at the Dearborn Assembly Plant on 06/10/1993. I have the Cobra certificate, letter from Ford as well as the original window stickers. The car is in great shape, very clean, with a host of mods over the years and just under 65,000 miles.

I am the fourth owner of the car and I know all but the original owner. I bought the car from a good friend in 2005, had the engine completely rebuilt and have put around 5,000 miles on the car since. The engine was built by a friend who is an outstanding mechanic. He owns a handful of Mustangs and has some near-1000hp mustangs. Everything except the block (still the stock block) was upgraded to top quality components. The block was bored out to a 331, machined and internally balanced. Top quality components where used throughout, from the engine to the drive train.

List of mods include:
331 stroker
Canfield heads
D1 Procharger w/ intercooler
Tremec TKO transmission
Aeromotive fuel system - A1000 pump, aeromotive filter, stainless lines, vortech pressure regulator and rails, larger injectors
Larger throttle body
Larger MAS
Fluidyne aluminum radiator
Flex-a-lite dual fans
Aluminum drive shaft
BBK Long-tube headers w/ offroad h-pipe
BBK caster camber plates
Upgraded suspension
Welded sub-frame bracing
Diablosport performance chip
Moroso sump oil pan and high flow oil pump
Auto meter boost, temp and fuel pressure gauges

The car is very clean with a few small blemishes on the body. Looks 100% stock other than the 3 auto meter gauges. Car would get compliments every time I drove it. The interior is in great shape and has an Apline deck, Alpine amp, sub tube (throwback to the 90s!) and Focal components in the front. There is a sun roof but it needs a new motor.

I had it dyno tuned after the motor was rebuilt and with a very conservative tune and 7lbs of boost it puts out just over 400 RWHP.

This car is currently an off road-only vehicle as the cats and smog system has been removed. It's located in Denver, CO.

Asking $21,500.

Oh yea.....The new CL listing has a new pic with a different angle of the roof line. It does have an aftermarket sunroof. :sadwave:
Nice catch in reading the full CL description Romo!
Damn, we all missed it in the older listings above too.
