Looks like a clean car, interior looks mint. It does look like its had a blower on it because the hole on the passenger side appears to have been enlarged. Not 100% sure, but it may be something to ask about if you bid on it.

http://svtregistry.com/cobra/1993/1264/index.html

Original owner. Clean carfax. Show car the last 15 years.Garage kept on jack stands. Trailered to shows and rarely driven. About 25 miles put on it the last 3 years.Meticuliously(sp) maintained. Owned by a auto detailer so it is clean on the top and bottom.

I dont have to sell it at this time. It can sit on jackstands for the next couple of years. The car isnt costing me much
Price $22500

I think your asking price of $22,500 is a little steep for a car with 40K Miles on it. I recently came across a Black 93 Cobra w/Grey Cloth for $16,500 with 22K Miles. I won't say where I saw this because I am trying to pick it up for myself.

I didn't think he ask you what you thought ? Why is it every forum when somebody is selling a car you always got somebody who thinks it's to much? How much do you want for your car ...... before you answer that it's too much !

True that. People are always trying to low ball these cars because of mileage. OMG mileage, it's evil. They are just worthless after 40k.

But, I can see where one would think 22k is high. Sometimes I sit the fence.

When I bought this car last spring, I was exploring a number of ford/mustang/5.0/etc. sites trying to decide where I should land for info and assistance. On several sites there was this person who evidentally really kept track of what people were paying for their cars. On those occasions when the car was put up for sale again at a higher price, he seemed to take great pleasure in reminding the seller (and everyone else) how much they paid originally. Self-important twits are the bane of the net ... the anonymous nature of the medium brings out the worse in some.

I set on the fence to sometimes about prices , but when it comes down to it's all in what the buyer wants in a car and what the seller thinks his car is worth. Sorry about the highjack . Good luck with the sell!

The black one you speak of has been wrecked that's why it is 16500. It's had fenders, hood and some 1/4 panel work done to it. You cannot compare a repaired car to a original one. To each his own on price, yes it may be a little high but then again you haven't seen the car plus some will pay a premium for a one owner car.

How do you know what car I am talking about? I didn't even mention where I saw it. If you can send me a pic or a web link to this so called repaired car I can compare it to what I have. I have also spoke to the owner and there was no mention of any repairs. I'm not bashin his price either but me personally I wouldn't pay the MSRP cost of the car 14 years later. I know what these sold for new and I know what the 93 R's sold for new.

Dude ask around if you are in the loop on 93 Cobras then you will know that we are a tight bunch and most cars are know. Is it the car from FL. that originally came from NC? If not then I am wrong but your decription is exactly of the car i speak of. Black on gray cloth 22k miles he's asking 16500 for the car purchased new in NC about 15 min from me. Has had replacement fenders, hood and some work on the 1/4 panel. Car is # 3043. Here is a link with pics. http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=902922
Also it is not mentioned in this ad eithere but GSX pointed it out after pics were posted. Again if it's not the same car sorry but there is a lot of similarities if it's not. And PS these cars with low miles will bring over sticker. Heck I've got a standing offer of 25k for my teal 6k mile car. That is 5k over it's sticker price. And R's with low mileage will bring darn near 3 times there original sticker price.

Here is a link to another post where it states it has been repaired. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/sh ... p?t=446690
IMO it is still a nice car and still worth what he is asking because it would be a 20-22k car without the damage history.

I can understang a car with low miles like yours fetching $25K. I've seen them sell for that. I have also seen the R's sell for $60K. If I had the money I would buy an R for $60K. I'm not worried about buying a repaired car unless the car has a bad title. I've been looking at a lot of 93 Cobra's and I've had people offer me cars with about the same mileage for $3-4K less. I'm looking for a well looked after car. I saw another Black one with 67K miles for $13,900 and it was a POS. Car was damaged and interior had rips. I don't mind paying for the car but I'm not going to take the firs nice one I see. The reason I came to this site was to find a Cobra with Cloth Interior. I figured there was no better place to go. I will find cars and post them to get opinons from members here and if the member is close to the car I will try to get them to lokk at it for me as I live in Canada and it's not easy to drive or fly to look at all these cars that I find.
