#3133 Teal-GreyCloth 79k $14k MD

Post by BrettT »

lol, wow, did I stir up a conversation.

Yea, I can get a historic tag and have been planning on it. However since the car is all stock as for the drivetrain and the fact it passes the emission test easily. I've just been going with the BS test because the historic tag in MD only allows weekend driving and holiday driving. From what I seen and heard they are really enforcing it lately. For now, I don't want to be restricted to just those days. I tend to have of on some weekdays and would like to drive the car when I want.

get historic plates. You'll never get pulled over. Have them on both mustangs.

Better yet ... move to NJ. We have the cheapest gas east of the Mississippi and they pump it for you. And the icing on the cake -- if you drive less than 3000 miles a year on any days of the week, you are exempt from emissions!

Checked out #3133 for biminiLX Saturday morning.

Oh, look at where the rear bumper vin is located. For me, this is the first I've seen the vin# sticker in this location on the rear bumper. It was high on back side up near where the bumper attaches to the brackets.

Brett can't thank you enough!
We will talk soon.
Pics look so much better on my PC than iphone, would you mind emailing them to me?

Tom--appreciate the intentions.

Hope to speak to the owner today and hopefully have a deposit taken.
If not I have a special back-up plan but this car should suit my needs.

Brett--looking at the profile pic is there a mark on the fender behind the passenger light?
I don't mind if you want to post all the pics here, I know they were mainly the blem pics not overall but that's OK.

J, I glad I could help, great talking you on the phone.

No, there was no mark behind the passenger light. If it's the pic I think your referring to......it was just showing how clean it was under the hood.

Interesting strange post.
I'm sending a water pump as a deposit so I can drive it home next month.
I think it will be fun to have a road trip instead of trailering.

The car has other upgrades and I would like to upgrade the water pump. I've been used to electrics with my race LX, I'm thinking of an Edelbrock or equivalent water pump?
I do not want to use OEM replacement if I can upgrade but don't want electric.
Any input appreciated.
