It took him a while to respond to me but I ended up having a few conversations with him. Cars seems legit. Some other things came up for me preventing me from getting it right now, and I was just about to pull the trigger. Maybe some day I'll be able to join the Cobra club!!

Not much according to his info. I haven't actually looked at the car, but he seemed very open and honest. Sounds like maybe a small amount of paint fading on the trim and front bumper. You can see in one of the pictures that the front looks a slightly different color, he said the trim you can only tell when up close waxing it. It started it's life as a daily driver so I guess that's expected.
I am new to the Cobra's, but not to foxbody's, but it seems like a good car for a decent price.

biminiLX, I tried sending you a PM but it won't leave my outbox. Not sure what the problem is. I tried giving the guy a call to make sure it was okay to give you his number, but I couldn't get a hold of him. I'll try again today.

Brett and Tom--I spoke with the owner, car seems legit and I am interested. The kicker is that he is leaving for work Monday to be out of state for a month.
He said he would be available all day Sat.--would either of you be able to make it Sat?
I'll gladly reimburse you some gas money.
If the car checks out, I'll give him a deposit and make a trip to get it when he returns.
Please PM me if able.
Thanks, J

A 22-year old car you don't drive much requires an emission test? Doesn't MD offer any exemptions that you would qualify for?

They should worry more about that police force and riots and less about emissions!! :pat: :spankme:

That sucks, Brett. Here in NY, anything older than a 1995 model doesn't require an emissions test. Just a safety inspection. ($10)
Works out quite well for me considering I have 3 Foxes.

Wow! An inexpensive government policy that makes perfect sense in New York! Now that's a rarity! ;)
