1993 Ford Mustang Cobra NO RESERVE

Car is out of my personal collection, downsizing is only reason for selling. To start car is in great shape for a car of its age, id say 7-8 of 10…. The cars paint is in near perfect shape and condition all the way around, hood is currently off car being repainted due to rock chip about the size of dime on front. Original motor and tranny. Motor is strong and sounds great, stock to my knowledge. Tranny is great as well, now the clutch is about 2 years old and is hard to get into gear and shift as well. Will need adjustment or replaced either one. Interior is also in great shape as well, other than the saggy door panel pockets but this is common for these cars. Owner before me replaced the stock tape deck with CD player but this is about the only non stock item inside car i believe. Car will sell NO RESERVE. Has early intake. Missing VIN sticker on PS fender and no coil cover. Has aftermarket radiator and caster camber plates. Needs a bath.

Z, you missed the biggest issue with this car. It doesn't have original black tweed cloth interior. The piping is a big give away, and the texture.

But the seller says the CD is the only non-stock item inside the car!!

Good eyes, Brett. I was too distracted by how dirty the car was.

Who puts their car up for sale dirty anyhow. Definitely makes me think it's hasn't been cared for well when you see it listed looking like that.

Someone liked it enough to hit the buy it now price.

Wow. $15k with all those things modified/missing and 100k miles. Seller should be happy with that.

What's the difference with the Cobra ones?

As Brett said above, the big giveaway is the piping. This car has aftermarket vinyl/plastic piping instead of the OEM cloth piping and the "pattern" in the seats does not match the OEM "tweed" pattern.

Compare the seat pics from this car with the original black seats from the thread below and you'll see the difference.
